Dionne is a professional performance artist with over 7 years of professional experience. She was a member of the Dance Theatre of Harlem for 5 years, rising to the rank of soloist. During that time, she appeared in several news publications, as well as in the Pointe magazine article titled “Dance Theatre of Harlem’s Women of Power.” She performed Debbie Allen’s role of Sunday in her musical “Brother’s of the Knight.”

She appeared in the Broadway musical Motown, choreographed by Warren Adams, who also taught at ASL 2014. Ms. Figgins has taught ballet at Dance Theatre of Harlem and the Ailey School.

She is also the resident choreographer for the emerging artist Yobi.
